Well beyond 14 days following the shocking loss of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, friends and colleagues continue to honor the pair.

"Enough time has passed that I can at last articulate my loss into words," wrote Elwes, saying that his initial encounter with Reiner left him smitten. "As we began spending more time together I understood this was someone I wanted in my life."
The actor shared behind-the-scenes footage from the film, remarking that he cannot recall "any day without laughter".
"The film is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob cherished deeply. That is part of the many reasons he was the best person to helm it," Elwes expressed.
He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an understatement. My heart still hurts every time I think of you." He ended with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."
In a different tribute, legendary director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.
"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would take over the room," Scorsese wrote.
Scorsese highlighted Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the main character.
"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked wonderfully with everyone, and he comprehended the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese added.
