A jet transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.
"The aircraft touched down following established safety measures and all passengers, such as Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.
The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to Brussels when the incident occurred.
This occurrence is not the initial instance that a American defense plane transporting a senior official has suffered equipment failures.
